1) Viking (Grade D), Northern Viking (Grade C): The level requirement is 20, and upgrade are Ashen Jewel, Ashen Crystal, Legendary Viking's Spirit Stone.
2) Hero Stats: Str - 449. Dex - 149. Def - 658. Int - 235. Vit - 417. Mdef - -50.
3) Skills(Atlantica online Gold): Freezing Axe. Deadly Strike. Ice Ridge (Northern Viking only).
A Viking is very useful in most situations. Its most useful ability is the ability to freeze targets for 3 turns. Some enemies and all bosses later on are immune to freeze, but the freeze still lowers defense and makes the opponent at least waste a turn.
The downside is that they have very low magic defense and 3 swordsman can basically take out a Viking in 1 turn. At level100, a Viking can be upgraded to a Northern Viking which turns it into a Grade C mercenary and gives it the new Ice Ridge skill, an improved version of the Freezing Axe skill.
